Easy paths and wide-ranging views
The Tiziana Weiss Path follows the Karst escarpment from Santa Croce to Aurisina. In clear weather, it offers views of the Grado Lagoon, the Gulf of Trieste, Punta Salvore and the Friulian mountains. The path is approximately 2.5 km long and easy to walk. The approximate length can therefore be considered a short stretch of trail; the distant views explicitly depend on clear weather, which is a factor when choosing the day for your outing.

Quarries, visits and the history of the paths
The Cava Romana di Aurisina is also among the stone-related experiences in the area. The guided tour begins and ends in the forecourt in front of the quarry near the Bivio Aurisina station.
The path was later used by fishermen to descend to the sea at Canovella degli Zoppoli, where they fished with their “zoppole” or “čupa”. This later use adds a connection with the sea to the history of the stone-related path.
