It depicts the Holy Spirit descending upon Saints Filippo and Giacomo. A marble stele was erected beside the Torre di Palidoro in 1960 in memory of Carabinieri Vice-Brigadier Salvo D’Acquisto. This memorial site is associated with the story of Salvo D’Acquisto: He took sole responsibility for the alleged attack and requested the immediate release of those who had been arrested. The 22 prisoners were then released.
