A fortified borgo with a long history
Tragliata combines a fortified borgo, rural surroundings and traces of different eras. A historic paved road connected the ancient site of Tragliata with the important settlement of Castel Campanile. The origins of Borgo di Tragliata date back to the Etruscan and Roman periods.

The Castello di Tragliata was built between the 9th and 10th centuries for defensive and observation purposes. Over time, it was converted into a country house used for residential purposes and agricultural production. In the area around Tragliata, the Torre del Pascolaro is located on a privately owned agricultural property and can be viewed from a distance. Historically, the Torre del Pascolaro could communicate with Castel Campanile and the Castello di Tragliata to warn of dangerous situations.

The first walk of the Cammino delle città perdute is approximately 6 km long, takes about 3 hours and leads from the square below the Castello di Torrimpietra to Borgo di Tragliata.

The event is held under the patronage of the Comune di Fiumicino and takes place in Borgo di Tragliata with live music, food and handicrafts. Woodstock a Tragliata can be traced back to 2011 at the historic residence of Borgo di Tragliata.
