The municipality of Force scheduled the event “Rievocazione Storica della Trebbiatura” in the hamlet of Montecchio for 25 July 2026. As part of the Festival dell’Appennino, the 18th “Rievocazione della Trebbiatura” was made possible by the Associazione “Montecchio in Festa”. Music and an Evening Event

The Festival dell’Appennino program scheduled Zigà’s concert in Montecchio for 9 p.m. The music group Zigà is considered a representative of popular music featuring pizziche, tammurriate and southern Italian rhythms. Participation in the Festival dell’Appennino event in Montecchio on 26 July 2025 was free of charge but required prior registration. Free participation and prior registration were two separate conditions for the same event.

Traditional Specialties at Festivals

During the 2025 festival stay in Montecchio, the catering station of the Associazione “Montecchio in Festa” offered an €18 menu. It included tagliatelle al sugo de lo vatte, whose sauce was prepared with duck and red beef, as well as sausage, a pork-neck chop, tomato slices, bread, water and wine. In 2024, a sagra with traditional specialties was part of the event program for Montecchio di Force, together with a historic threshing demonstration. The “Castagnata di San Martino” was also associated with 10 November 2024 in the hamlet of Montecchio. The selection of dishes extends beyond a single meal and also includes drinks. The two additional events extend the period of culinary events from 2024 to 2025.

Further Event Experiences

The 2019 event program in Montecchio included a Jeep ride through the hills as well as a gathering of historic tractors and cars at Ponte Maglio. The year distinguishes these program items from the 2025 and 2026 festival events. The Jeep ride and the vehicle gathering therefore belong to an earlier program year than the later festival events.
