At that time, these trails could be walked or travelled by bicycle. The Ca’ Palmiere–San Cipriano route is one of the three circular tours in the Urbino Outdoor project.

Landscape with Mountain Views and Forest

The trail then descends over a ridge with panoramic views of the Monte Nerone mountain range. A trail in the mining park passes through coppice woodland of manna ash and hornbeam and ends in a wide clearing at the foot of the summit of Monte di Cal Palmiere. For those interested in nature and landscapes, this creates a sequence of elevated views, forest and open countryside.
