Sant'Angelo Limosano combines a medieval historic centre with sacred sites, local everyday culture and the Cammino del Perdono. Fonte di San Pietro is also a place of worship, especially during the Feast of San Pietro Celestino on 19 May. After winter, water begins bubbling there again a few days before this feast. Everyday History at the Museo di Comunità

On 16 August, a Museo di Comunità was opened in Sant'Angelo Limosano within the Parco delle Morge. The museum displays objects from transhumance, peasant life and traditional occupations. A dedicated room featuring video storytelling lets residents recount facts, anecdotes and local traditions. In addition to churches and historic streets, you can thus encounter the themes that have shaped the everyday life of the community.

Hiking the Cammino del Perdono

The Cammino del Perdono connects L'Aquila in Abruzzo with Monte Sant'Angelo in Apulia and includes a 105-kilometre section through Molise. The route reaches Sant'Angelo Limosano after passing the Santa Maria delle Stelle Sanctuary and descends via an impressive limestone staircase to the square. The Cammino del Perdono can be hiked year-round and features stages with a level of difficulty suitable for hikers and tourists. Sant'Angelo Limosano may therefore be of interest to you both for its architectural history and as a stop on a longer pilgrimage and hiking route.
