Piobesi d'Alba: Winegrowing, Routes and Culture

Piobesi d'Alba combines a rural setting with clearly defined routes and cultural attractions. Route S4 – Roero Centrale passes through Piobesi d'Alba between Santa Vittoria d'Alba and Vezza d'Alba. It follows the SP 10 towards Alba to Piobesi d'Alba, passes the Church of San Pietro in Vincoli, then turns into Via Marconi and continues uphill along Via Mezza Montà.

The local culture includes the Church of S. Rocco in Piobesi d'Alba. Its interior contains a fresco and a canvas painting depicting S. Rocco and S. Bastiano. Another point of reference in time is the patronal festival of Piobesi d'Alba: it lasts for five or six days around the second Sunday in July.
