Sorano: Vineyards, Wine Tasting and Routes through the Landscape

Sorano presents itself as a destination whose character is shaped by steep slopes, vineyards and varied routes. The area around the hamlet of Sorano features abrupt changes in elevation; altitudes range from approximately 320 metres above sea level to 250 metres near the valley floor. The “Grinzane Cavour – Sorano – Diano d'Alba” route reaches Sorano after approximately 40 minutes. This gives you both a cycling tour starting from Sorano and routes that pass through vineyards to the hamlet or continue from there.

The wider surrounding region of Sorano includes the natural arch Arco Trionfale, the Giardini del Belvedere gardens and the Bric Cupazzolo hill.
