Between the Town Center and the Nuraghi
Among the notable archaeological remains is Nuraghe Andula. The circular, single-tower monument has a circumference of about 37 meters; three rows of medium-sized basalt blocks have survived. Nuraghe Andula is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. In Località Puttu are the now only partially visible remains of a Nuragic well temple. The sacred building was constructed using refined isodomic masonry; numerous blocks lie near a newer well that replaced the ancient one.
Nuraghe Oladolzu is situated high above the Modolo valley and the coast; its location points to a strategic function. There is evidence of continuous use there from the Nuragic period, including the Late and Final Bronze Age and possibly the Early Iron Age, through the Punic, Republican and Imperial Roman periods, and into the Middle Ages and modern era.
Nuraghe Sebes is the only partially preserved Bronze Age monument in the surrounding area. It is provisionally considered a single-tower tholos nuraghe and dominates the Modolo valley. You can reach it via the road to Modolo: shortly outside the town, turn left, above the municipal water reservoir. Another historical trace is the Chiesa di Santa Croce, which dates from the late 14th or early 15th century.
Wine, Viewpoints and Coastal Landscapes
The landscape around Magomadas is predominantly devoted to producing wines belonging to the Malvasia di Bosa D.O.C. area. At the Enoteca della Malvasia di Bosa, visitors can learn more about this local wine tradition by tasting local wines. This also makes the town interesting for travelers who view regional products not merely as an accompaniment, but as part of the cultural landscape.
Sa Costa is a tourist viewpoint offering views of the Modolo valley and the territory of the municipality of Bosa. From the top of Nuraghe Lorio and from the Belvedere Santu Nigola, the view extends along a stretch of coast from the Cuglieri area to the boundaries between Bosa and Alghero. The area around Magomadas is characterized by bright beaches, rugged cliffs and unspoiled, deep-blue waters.

Magomadas can be reached via the SS292; the exit is at kilometer 76.
