Churches and Sacred Art in Serradifalco

The Chiesa Madre San Leonardo Abate was built in 1740. This church also houses a wooden statue of Saint Leonardo Abate, created in 1662 by the Palermo sculptor Giancarlo Viviano. The building’s history and sculpture can therefore be viewed here through two clearly dated points of reference.

The Chiesa Immacolata Concezione in Serradifalco was built around 1750. On the façade of the Chiesa di San Francesco di Paola, statues of the Madonna delle Grazie and Saint Francis of Paola contribute to the townscape’s sacred character.
