Corsanico between the coast, hilltop settlement and trails

Corsanico combines a historically classified hilltop settlement center with the area near the coast and trails through the hills. The local history includes an old tradition concerning corsairs. Lago di Porta is a freshwater wetland near the coast that has survived the historical drainage of the coastal marshes. Cave di Marmo, a cave, is also located in the area around Corsanico. The two destinations represent clearly different landscapes: Lago di Porta is associated with water, coastal marshland and historical drainage, while Cave di Marmo represents an underground natural environment.
