San Sebastiano contains two 17th-century paintings: one depicts the Madonna and saints, while the other shows Christ crucified and saints.

Architecture Between the Middle Ages and the Modern Era

The Chiesa di San Pietro in Serpillo o in Serpullo has two 17th-century paintings on the right-hand side of its single-nave interior. Its present structure was created through alterations in the 18th century or at the beginning of the 19th century, probably attributed to Valadier. The Chiesa di Santa Maria Annunziata was completely rebuilt in the 15th century; during this work, the façade was brought forward and the nave was probably extended. A right-hand wall probably dates from the 12th century and was built in filaretto masonry, typical of the early Spoletan Romanesque style.

Hiking Between Spoleto and Poreta

The Spoleto–Poreta stage of the Way of St. Francis passes through Bazzano Superiore before continuing towards Poreta. It is 15.5 kilometres long, includes 620 metres of ascent and 670 metres of descent, and takes an estimated 4 hours and 30 minutes. When planning the day for the Spoleto–Poreta stage, time should be allowed not only for the estimated duration but also for breaks and the churches along the route through Bazzano Superiore.
