In Saletto, the Parrocchia di Santa Maria Immacolata was first documented as a chapel in 1152 and was elevated to a parish by the Bishop of Treviso in 1440. It preserves frescoes by Sebastiano Santi, a statue attributed to the Brustolon school and an antique holy-water font. These architectural and decorative details make Saletto another destination for visitors interested in culture.

Architecture and remembrance on the Piave

In the center of Breda stands Villa Olivi, an architectural complex consisting of a villa and an adjoining building. The two are connected by an arcade to another, lower building arranged at right angles, which extends toward the garden. The layout can therefore be understood as a cohesive architectural ensemble.

The Mulino della Sega stands on an island in the Piave near San Bartolomeo. Today, it is a memorial to those who fell in the First World War and connects the river landscape with the memory of the area’s history.
