Villa Lattes was completed in 1715 and designed by the Venetian architect Giorgio Massari (1687–1766). The complex includes two barchesses, an oratory, several historic buildings formerly used for agriculture and a historic park. The park contains two statues by Marinali and busts of the twelve Caesars. The site thus brings together architecture, landscape design and traces of earlier use.

Another protected historic building in Istrana is Villa Moretti. It dates from approximately 1800. The Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista also forms part of the town’s cultural profile; it is associated with the cultural heritage inventory of the Province of Treviso. The local festival tradition also includes the 41st edition of the Festa dell’Agricoltura di Istrana. It took place from 13 to 16 September and from 20 to 23 September at the parish sports centre in Sala di Istrana.

Regional Produce and Getting Around

Istrana is one of the municipalities in the Province of Treviso crossed by the river and part of the production area for Sile rainbow trout. At Tre Comuni, 100% buffalo milk, milked within the previous twelve hours, is processed directly in front of visitors.
