Water management and historic routes

The Terze Porte of the Canale Brentella are a structure built in Pederobba in 1577 to regulate the Canale Brentella. The Terze Porte can be reached via Via Molini between the SR 348 Feltrina and the Piave. This makes a clearly identifiable structure part of Pederobba’s local history, with its original purpose directly connected to the watercourse.

Hiking on the Colli di Onigo

The Sentiero delle Trincee on the Colli di Onigo offers views northward over the Piave Valley and Monte Cesen. At the same time, it is an easy hiking trail on a wooded hill west of the municipal centre. The Anello ciclabile del Grappa is a 135-kilometre signposted circular route on paved roads. It can begin or end in Pederobba. Those who begin or finish it in Pederobba use the town as the starting point or conclusion of this cycling tour. Its circular nature distinguishes the cycling tour from a hike on the Colli di Onigo.

Villas and architecture

Villa Calvi di Coenzo Caragiani was originally a farmhouse built in the 17th century by the Venetian merchant family Groppo and was later converted into a villa. Today, it is an example of 18th-century architecture and features a large portico, a collection of aristocratic carriages and a terrace. The villa thus expands Pederobba’s historical themes to include Venetian family history, architecture, carriages and a portico.

Chestnuts and local cultural heritage

The Mostra-mercato dei Marroni del Monfenera was launched in 1974 by citizens of Pederobba to enhance the forest and cultural heritage associated with chestnuts, and especially the Marrone del Monfenera. The event focuses on chestnuts, and especially the Marrone del Monfenera, as forest and cultural heritage associated with Pederobba. In this way, the Mostra-mercato combines a local product with the landscape and history.
