In 1596, it became a parish church when a baptismal font was installed. The church’s present appearance also reflects several stages of development. It was created through extension work entrusted to the architect Giuseppe Segusini, who came from Feltre; as a result, it acquired a distinctly Neo-Renaissance appearance. The high altar features an altarpiece of the Madonna, Child and saints by Palma il Vecchio. Above the portal, in the pronaos, there is also a fresco of Saint Helena attributed to Paolo Veronese.

Villas and frescoes

Another historic building in Zerman is Villa Zuliani. It dates from the 16th century, features elements from the 17th century and has exterior frescoes from the Veronese school. Golf Zerman was established in 1993 based on a project by engineer Arcibaldo Bonaventura, initially as a practice facility with an attached three-hole course. The Sagra di Sant’Elena Imperatrice

The Sagra di Sant’Elena Imperatrice is held in Zerman in August and is regarded as a symbolic event for the local community. It began as a wine festival.
