Adami and Michele Pane

The Casa di Michele Pane is the birthplace of the poet Michele Pane. It is located in the historic centre of Adami, about 3 km from the centre of Decollatura, along the old routes of the village on the slopes of Mount Reventino. Adami preserves a large part of its 18th-century urban layout, including narrow lanes, stone arches and adjoining houses. You can therefore experience Adami both through its literary connection and through the preserved features of its townscape. Fontana du Cavune

The Fontana du Cavune is also known as “A fhuntana du' Cavune” and is an ancient spring in a hamlet of Decollatura. It has two water outlets set into a masonry, brick-covered arch. Beside them are basins for watering animals and washing clothes. The spring can be reached from the provincial road or via Via Don Luigi Costanzo. Those interested in architectural traces of everyday life can pay particular attention at the Fontana du Cavune to the arrangement of the arch, outlets and basins.

Santa Maria and Nature Trails
