Archaeological and Craft Heritage
The Museo civico Archeologico e Paleoambientale “Elsa Silvestri” displays significant archaeological evidence dating from the Bronze Age to the early Middle Ages. Its chronological range therefore extends far beyond a single historical era and offers you direct access to Budrio’s long history.
The Museo civico Archeologico e Paleoambientale “Elsa Silvestri” is open every third Sunday of the month from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00, as well as during planned activities and by appointment.
The Bottega del Legno della famiglia Rapparini permanently houses the collection of woodworking objects and tools donated by the Rapparini family. The Rapparini family’s craft activity lasted for more than 150 years and forms the historical background to this permanently preserved collection.

Architecture and Theatrical Culture
Le Torri dell'Acqua are located in Budrio’s former aqueduct, built in 1912. They are used for exhibitions, events and concerts; access is available during events and on other occasions. The year of construction, 1912, therefore predates this cultural use.
The Teatro Consorziale in Budrio was established in 1672 as a private theatre. Its visiting hours vary depending on the individual performances. Each season, the theatre offers a programme of spoken theatre, concerts, operettas, comedy theatre, dialect theatre and theatre for children; in Budrio, spoken, musical and comedic forms are brought together.
Art, Puppet Theatre and Sacred Architecture
The municipal collection of paintings, drawings and prints at the Pinacoteca civica Domenico Inzaghi was first assembled in 1821. The Torrione del Risorgimento is an external site of this Pinacoteca civica Domenico Inzaghi and presents an excerpt from Budrio’s history in the 19th century.
The Museo dei Burattini in Budrio is spread across two adjacent locations. Performances and cultural activities take place during the summer months in the courtyard connecting these two locations.
The Chiesa di San Domenico in Budrio was founded in 1605 by the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary. In front of the church is a spacious portico with three arcades dating from the final decade of the 17th century. The foundation in 1605 therefore predates the portico from the final decade of the 17th century.
