In Spicciano, the Palazzo Baronale is a 15th-century residence that preserves frescoes depicting the Baglioni family. Further traces date back to Roman times. At Poggio la Guardia in the Tiber plain, the remains of a rural settlement were excavated. It consisted of a residential area and a production area with a large round basin. The Santuario della Madonna del Castellonchio stands on the ruins of an ancient castle. The wall and vault paintings were executed by the Roman painter Marzio Ganassini and depict episodes from the life and miracles of the saint.
