Parco Oasi Verde is a public park with facilities on the left bank of the Serio River, on Via Lazzaretto in Seriate. The park is accessible to people with motor disabilities. In addition to Seriate, Parco del Serio Nord also includes Pedrengo, Scanzorosciate, Gorle and Villa di Serio, extending for a total length of approximately 15 km along the Serio River. Parco del Serio Nord has routes that you can use by bicycle and on foot. Two options with specific lengths are given for the Quadrifoglio cycling loop: the long option is 51.0 km, while the short option is 26.6 km. These two distances give you a clear basis for comparing the scope of a cycling tour or planning according to the route length. This also means that Seriate can be planned from the perspective of its natural landscape and cycling.

Villa Piccinelli and exhibition venues

Villa Piccinelli is a historic Neoclassical villa built by the Piccinelli family in the 18th century. One wing of the villa houses the Museo Mons. Guglielmo Carozzi, with seven rooms. Its themed rooms contain objects, documents, clothing and photographs from the First and Second World Wars, as well as from the period of the Risorgimento. These collections are connected with sporting figures and political and religious figures from Seriate. The Sala espositiva “Virgilio Carbonari” is the centre of exhibition activity in Seriate. In autumn and winter, visits to the Museo Mons. Guglielmo Carozzi can be arranged for school classes and groups by prior appointment.

Churches and the Santuario with historical dating

The Chiesa Arcipresbiterale del Santissimo Redentore was built in its basic form between 1769 and 1778. On 10 September 1808, it was consecrated under the title of the Most Holy Redeemer. The Santuario Madonna del Buon Consiglio originated as an oratory and was initially dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. The dedication of the Santuario Madonna del Buon Consiglio to the Madonna del Buon Consiglio dates back to 1794.
