Landscape between moraines and river plain

If you park at Piazza Roma, a short uphill walk will take you to the Castello di Carzago. Next to the parish church stands the Chiesa della Disciplina, which was built between the 17th and 18th centuries. Its single-nave interior features a visible wooden roof structure.

MArteS and practical visit planning

The MArteS – Museo d'Arte Sorlini displays more than 180 predominantly Venetian and Veneto paintings from the 14th to the 19th century. The museum is housed in an elegant 17th-century palazzo in Carzago. Access requires an admission ticket, which must be purchased online or at the ticket office; reservations are recommended. This makes the museum a destination for which you can consciously factor the visit into your day’s planning.

Calvagese della Riviera is a production area for the DOC wine Garda Classico and is known for the wines Groppello di Mocasina, Riesling and Chiaretto.
