The lookout point on Torre Ducco was once used to communicate with Torre Calini to the east and Torre Porcellaga in Rovato to the north. The historic Castello of Trenzano presumably developed from defensive structures into a fortified Borgo with a wall, moat and gate.

The parish church of Santa Maria Assunta is one of Trenzano’s attractions. The historic Pieve of Trenzano was centred on the Basilica Alba, which served as the mother church for an extensive area. The church of San Michele also has a clearly documented history: after the monastery was dissolved in 1798, it was transferred to the parish and continues to be used for religious services.

Trenzano’s historic agricultural landscape was shaped by irrigation canals and ditches. These waterways include the Trenzana, which was documented as early as 1381.
