Villa Pallavicino Montaldi adds an earlier historical dimension: it was built between 1804 and 1820 based on a design by Giuseppe Zanoia, completed by Luigi Voghera.

On the main façade of Villa Pallavicino Montaldi, the double Doric and Ionic loggia stands out as a precise architectural detail. The garden is designed in the English style and includes a pond, large groups of trees that appear to have grown naturally, several small temples and grottoes. The patronal Sagra San Donnino takes place on the second Sunday in October. It includes a fishing competition for children in the moat of Castello Manfredi. This provides families with a specific festival element, while the moat also establishes a connection with the local architecture.

The route complements the architectural and festival themes with a clearly defined sporting perspective.

Mostarda from Cremona is another culinary point of interest. La Cicogna Luccini was founded in 2000 to make this Mostarda known beyond the local area. La Cicogna Luccini produces Mostarda from Cremona in 15 varieties, distinguished by the type of fruit used. The diversity of fruit thus becomes the specific difference between the individual varieties.

The grape treading in Cicognolo is another part of the experience focused on enjoyment. It reached its third edition. During grape treading, grapes are crushed barefoot; this is a multisensory experience. Together with Mostarda, it creates a culinary theme that is clearly distinct from the architectural and cultural sites.
