The Chiesa parrocchiale di S. Maria Annunciata is an architectural building in Gussola dating from 1565. As the parish church dedicated to the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, it is considered one of Gussola’s most representative historical and art-historical monuments.

The Palazzo Ala Ponzone is a villa in Gussola dating from 1788. In addition, the Palazzo Ala Ponzone is associated with “Bianzani L”. Together, these represent two different historic buildings in the town: a parish church of art-historical significance and a villa from the late 18th century.

The Lanca di Gussola and Its Birdlife

The Lanca di Gussola is an old bend in the Po River and a remnant of the former Po Valley ecosystem.
