Culture between Theatre, Church and Archive

Arcevia brings together several cultural destinations that offer different ways of exploring the town's history. The Teatro Misa was reconstructed between 1840 and 1845 in the Palazzo dei Priori. Its auditorium is horseshoe-shaped and has three tiers of boxes. A visit here offers a particularly tangible experience of historic theatre architecture.

In Arcevia's historic centre, the Museo Archeologico Statale brings together archaeological materials from the municipal area dating from prehistory to Roman times. Castello di Palazzo on Monte Caudino

The Castello di Palazzo stands on a hill at an elevation of 516 metres at the foot of Monte Caudino. It is a walled settlement with an unusual urban structure following the contours of the hills. Massive sections of stone and brick, together with a 15th-century gateway, define its appearance.

The Castello di Palazzo can be explored along a short urban trek through its streets.
