Barbaresco DOCG and Nebbiolo

A central point of reference for the local wine culture is the Enoteca Regionale del Barbaresco. It represents the entire Barbaresco DOCG appellation as well as more than 150 wineries that produce this wine. At the enoteca, three Barbaresco DOCG wines are tasted by the glass at the counter every day. This provides a direct way to discover the diversity of the appellation through its wines.

The history of this place also reaches into the region's architectural and association history: the Enoteca Regionale del Barbaresco opened in 1986 in the building of the former Confraternita di San Donato, which was no longer in use at the time. In the Colline del Barbaresco, Nebbiolo is cultivated as a pure grape variety. Those who explore the landscape and its wines therefore encounter a grape variety that explicitly shapes the character of this area.
