For centuries, the complex was the summer residence of the Marchesi di Busca. Porta Avene is the only surviving gate of the old entrance to Mango. In the historic center, the lanes with murals and hand-painted terracotta tiles form an open-air museum depicting former rural life, traditional crafts and local traditions.

Trails between the center and the surrounding area

The circular route in Mango dedicated to Fenoglio leads through the town center and surrounding area, connecting places, farmsteads and panoramas of the Langhe appreciated by Fenoglio. Gnomovia begins on Via Cossano Belbo in Mango, can be reached on foot from the town center and has parking available near the town hall.
