After a landslide, it was rebuilt and enlarged in 1827; it was restored again in 1875 and 1990. The feast of the Chiesa di Santa Lucia is celebrated on December 13. The Chiesa Parrocchiale di S. Michele Arcangelo was built between 1761 and 1783. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Greek cross, the nave has a single aisle, and the circular dome rises to a height of 35 meters. The presbytery contains frescoes depicting two scenes from the Gospel: Jesus disputing in the Temple and Mary Magdalene washing Jesus’ feet in Simon’s house. The frescoes are by the painter Amedeo Augero from Verolengo. The church also contains an organ by Vittino.

La Cappella della Madonnina o Crocetta was built in 1664 over a votive pillar dating from 1610. It is fully preserved and was recently restored. Above the altar is an icon of unknown authorship showing the Virgin and Child in conversation with Saint Francis.

The Torre medievale is considered the best-preserved medieval building monument in Novello. Together with the churches, chapel, fortified houses, and round-arched gateways, it forms a closely interconnected historic focal point.

Vineyards, Alpine Panorama and Ruins

The Bar-to-Bar route, Stage 6A from Case Nuove to Novello, is a short detour from the main route toward Novello and leads through the Ravera vineyards to Novello. The variant offers distant views of the Alps. Novello is also home to the ruins of Podio Monastery and the Church of San Rocco.
