It was built in the 17th century by the Brotherhood of Prayer and Death, and construction was completed in 1691.

The Punta Unossi complex is located on the Sa Cuguttada plateau, at the foot of the Punta Unossi hill, and overlooks the deep Giunchi Valley. Its location combines archaeological interest with expansive views of the landscape. The settlement complex also includes a large circular assembly building with a circular bench along the walls and a circular central base.
The settlement of Punta Unossi appears to have been characterized as a typical sanctuary village. This cautious classification corresponds to the architectural features of the assembly building and gives the visit an additional cultural and historical context without reducing the site to a single detail.
Folklore, Music and Local Cuisine
Florinas is also associated with the Figulinas Festival, an international folklore festival in Sardinia held in Florinas, in the province of Sassari.
