Knife culture at Museo Culter
Museo Culter has a production workshop where knives are still forged using traditional methods and typical materials. In the workshop, the finished knife and its production are directly connected. Biennale and Santa Sabina
The “Biennale del coltello di Pattada” takes place every two years in August and displays knife collections belonging to local and international collectors. The two-year cycle makes August the recurring event month for the knife collections. Santa Sabina is Pattada’s parish church.
Monte Lerno: area, elevation and access
The Monte Lerno forest complex extends across more than 2,800 hectares in the territory of Pattada. Its elevations range from 400 metres to Punta Campanile, the mountain’s summit, at 1,093 metres. Monte Lerno is also a mountain in the surrounding area of Pattada. The forest complex is mainly accessible via the S.P. 128 bis Ozieri-Pattada and the SS 389 Pattada-Budduso. Museo Culter visiting hours
Museo Culter can be visited from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the morning. In the afternoon, the hours are 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in summer and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in winter. The afternoon hours therefore vary by season, while the morning period remains unchanged. In summer, the afternoon period extends further into the evening than in winter. For daily planning, the museum visit can be scheduled for a morning or for the appropriate afternoon period.
