Commezzadura: Cycling Routes, Family Trails and Winter Activities

Commezzadura in Val di Sole

As one of the three municipalities of Val di Sole, Commezzadura is part of Adamello Brenta Natural Park. The Val di Sole cycling and walking path runs along the Noce River and is suitable for families and children. This gives the municipality a clear focus on active days in nature, without limiting the choice to just one type of trip.

Cycling between the Bike Park and the riverside path

The Val di Sole Bike Park in Commezzadura comprises four trails with different difficulty levels. All of them are served by the 8-person Daolasa–Val Mastellina gondola. The Commezzadura Pump Track is located directly along the cycling and walking path in the River Park. Its enclosed course combines rollers, banked turns and natural obstacles.

If you would like to combine mountain biking with instruction or equipment, the mountain bike school of Centro Bike Val di Sole offers courses, tours and lessons for all ages and experience levels, including e-bike tours. At the Commezzadura Bike Park, Centro Bike Val di Sole also offers an extensive bicycle rental service and a specialized workshop.

Circular routes and peaceful walks

“Il mondo segreto di Aulasa” is a family-friendly themed circular route through the small villages of the municipality of Commezzadura. The route starts at the Commezzadura tourist office and returns there via Novaia and Mastellina. This circular route offers families, in particular, a practical way to discover the municipality’s different districts in a single walk.

“Piano – Deggiano” is an easy walking route through the small districts of the municipality of Commezzadura. The route passes sunny meadows and viewpoints with expansive panoramas. “I Laresi de la Tegia”, on the other hand, focuses on a nature walk to centuries-old larch trees; it also explores the history and traditions of local farmers. The meeting point for this walk is at 8:45 a.m. at the Commezzadura information office.

Family experience at the mountain station

Daolasa Estate Family Park is located at the mountain station of the Daolasa gondola. Children can enjoy climbing structures, a slide into a small forest, swings and wooden houses. This adds another clearly defined excursion destination to the family-friendly trails and the cycling and walking path suitable for families and children.

Winter activities and getting there

For winter sports, the Daolasa ski lifts are connected to Marilleva. They can be reached directly from the station where the Dolomiti Express – Ski train arrives. The Commezzadura cross-country skiing track is also part of the offerings, although its use is guaranteed only when there is natural snow. The track also offers courses for children.
