Falciano is an ancient settlement at a crossing between the Tiber Valley and the Arno Valley. The village lies on forested slopes that rise towards the peaks of Alpe di Catenaia. When travelling from Subbiano, continue from the turn-off from SS.71 onto Provincial Road 57 to reach Falciano. Falciano is accessible as far as the car park at the church of Falciano. The Chitignano–Subbiano stage follows the road descending from Falciano and then continues to Subbiano. These road connections help you consider the village both as a destination and as part of a journey.
