Villa: History, Museums and Landscape

The parish church of Pila is also one of the town’s buildings. It was built in 1898 in the Neo-Gothic style. The Chiesa della Madonna della Croce del Trebbio is a 19th-century burial chapel made of travertine on the main road. La Torre di Pila was built around a 15th-century watchtower and is surrounded by an Italian garden. The old S. Lorenzo chapel lies 2 km east of Pila. Because of its small size, it is called S. Lorenzino; its structure and interior furnishings have been preserved to this day.
