Ferentillo: Discover Rocche, Culture and Landscapes

Ferentillo is located in the Ternana Valnerina, in a gorge overlooked by two Rocche. The Castello di Ferentillo consists of two imposing fortresses on opposite slopes of the valley; its steep walls descend to the two districts of Matterella and Precetto.

Le Rocche Raccontano brings history to the town as an annual historical re-enactment: it takes place on the last two weekends of August, with 14 living tableaux in the streets, lanes and squares of Ferentillo. Those who prefer hiking can plan the circular trail to the Abbazia di San Pietro in Valle; it begins in Ferentillo.
