The mosaic floor of the Roman villa is displayed at the Museo Archeologico Cadorino. The archaeological remains of this 2nd-century AD villa have been excavated below the town hall of Pieve di Cadore. In Pieve di Cadore, the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità di Cadore is regarded as a symbol of civic life. For longer excursions, the Alta Via delle Dolomiti No. 4 is an approximately 85-kilometre route in six stages from San Candido in the Puster Valley to Pieve di Cadore. The Lunga Via delle Dolomiti also passes through Pieve di Cadore on its route between Calalzo di Cadore and San Vito di Cadore. It follows the former Dolomites railway, along which original railway stations, tunnels and bridges have been preserved.

The Lunga Via delle Dolomiti is completely closed to traffic and paved. It has constant gradients that are considered easy to manage.
