Preganziol on the Terraglio

The Terraglio between Venice and Treviso is considered a focal point of Venetian villas. The Venetian Villa Albrizzi Franchetti was built along the Terraglio between 1680 and 1700. It is located in San Trovaso, a district of the municipality of Preganziol in the Province of Treviso. Rose Garden and Rose di Maggio

The Roseto comunale Bepi Volpato rose garden was established in 2017 on land provided by the Comune di Preganziol in the garden of the municipal library. It contains more than 60 roses, primarily old and botanical varieties, as well as modern repeat-flowering varieties. The term “repeat-flowering” refers to roses that bloom again after an initial flowering, making the variety of roses more understandable even for visitors without botanical knowledge.

The annual “Rose di Maggio” event, held in May, features the rose garden as its main attraction. It includes themed events as well as meetings with experts and rose enthusiasts. The Preganziol SUMMER FESTIVAL returns to Parco Arena di Preganziol from Friday, 12 June, to Sunday, 14 June 2026. It includes three evenings of music, social gatherings and street food.

Preganziol is also associated with the 54th Mostra Mercato del Radicchio Rosso di Treviso I.G.P. This event combined an exhibition and tasting with a solidarity lunch on Friday and Saturday; radicchio and Spiedo gigante were served.
