CAI hiking trail 444 leads from Bosco di Tretto to the junction with trail 455 at an elevation of 1,375 meters. The hike “Luci da est” begins at this CAI trail marker. It follows one of the oldest access routes to the eastern and central alpine pastures of Monte Novegno, connecting the starting point in Bosco di Tretto with a route whose character is strongly shaped by traditional paths.

The “Cammino della memoria” can be reached from Bosco di Tretto via the road to Colletto di Velo and Monte Summano. After approximately 400 meters on the unpaved section, a CAI-marked spot indicates the starting point. “Sulle orme del camoscio” also begins in Bosco di Tretto via the road to Passo Colletto di Velo. Mountain Ridges, Crests and Forested Slopes

For a hike along the mountain ridge, “Sulle creste del Summano” can begin at Colletto Grande di Velo in the locality of Bosco di Tretto. The trail is signposted as 462A and follows a well-marked route with alternating ascents and descents, running partly along ridges and partly through the forests of the crest. “Sulle orme del camoscio” follows the southeastern ridge of the Novegno massif and runs mostly along a military mule track that climbs the slopes of Rozzo Covole. The “Cammino della memoria” leads along the wooded slopes of Brazome via a military mule track.

The nearby peaks include Monte Rione, Monte Priafora, and Monte Cogolo, as well as Monte Summano. The landscape experience therefore ranges from individual summit destinations to marked trails leading over ridges and through forested slopes.

Cultural Sites in the Wider Surrounding Area
