Villas and neoclassical architecture

Villa Perego di Cremnago was built in the first half of the 18th century by Canon Giovanni Perego in the late Baroque style. During guided group tours, its halls, grand library and private chapel are opened to visitors. The adjacent stables were entrusted to the architect Simone Cantoni. Villas with their own distinctive character

Villa Crivelli stands on a commanding hill overlooking the Lambro Valley. Villa La Rotonda stands on the highest hill in Inverigo and is considered the artistic legacy of the neoclassical architect Luigi Cagnola.

The Viale dei Cipressi

The Viale dei Cipressi is a tree-lined path approximately two kilometres long. The Crivelli family laid it out in several stages between the mid-17th and early 18th centuries. It begins at the Scala del Gigante, which descends from the hill of Villa La Rotonda. The approximate length of two kilometres is relevant when planning the duration of a walk.

Frescoes, stucco and sacred architectural forms

The Oratorio di Sant’Andrea del Navello preserves a particularly rich cycle of frescoes and stucco work. Near the Orrido di Inverigo, an old settlement of farmhouses and the oratory has been preserved. The Chiesa di San Vincenzo in Cremnago has a rectangular floor plan, three naves and a deep apsidal presbytery. The range therefore extends from decorative features to clearly describable architectural forms. Nature along the Lambro

The Parco Regionale della Valle del Lambro is home to diverse fauna, including numerous birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. Events programme and railway history

The recurring Luglio Inverighese events programme includes the Cena sotto le Barchesse. Inverigo’s railway connection can be traced back to 1879.
