Historic Places and Religious History

Villa Baruchello was built in the second half of the 18th century. Its age makes it a tangible historical reference point in Porto Sant'Elpidio, which you can combine with the town's other cultural impressions.

The original building of the Santuario Santa Maria della Corva dates back to 1548. On 21 June 1958, the Santuario Santa Maria della Corva was declared a Marian sanctuary. It is a pilgrimage destination for people from the surrounding towns and thus adds a religious dimension to the townscape.

In the centre of Porto Sant'Elpidio, Il Salotto della Calzatura is a weekly open-air shoe market. From 25 June to 3 September 2026, shoes will be sold there directly by the manufacturers on Thursday evenings. The market therefore combines a local event setting with a subject closely associated with Porto Sant'Elpidio: shoemaking.

The Mercato di Campagna Amica di Porto Sant’Elpidio is located at Piazza Wojtyla, in the square opposite the Chiesa di San Pio X. This specific location helps you combine a visit to the market with exploring the square and its surroundings.

The free summer shuttle bus operates in Porto Sant'Elpidio from 25 June to 6 September 2026, from Thursday to Sunday, each day from 20:30 to 00:30.
