The Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Silvestro preserves murals by local painters as well as a painting by Gustavo Maes dating from 1685. The painting was acquired in Antwerp by emigrants from the Vigezzo Valley. The church is also the only church in Ossola dedicated to Saint Sylvester. In this single place of worship, you therefore encounter both regional painting and a history connected with emigration from the valley.

In Gagnone, the Oratorio di San Defendente has an altar made of polychrome marble and a valuable historic organ. The Cappella dell’Addio is also located in Gagnone. It is decorated with frescoes by Giovan Battista Ciolina and marks the place where emigrants said farewell to their relatives before departing. The Polo museale UniversiCà is located in the east wing of the Colonia Montana di Druogno. The events calendar of Coimo also places a clear emphasis on the seasons: the Castagnata Coimese takes place on the second Sunday in October and includes barbecues, traditional singing and guided tours of Coimo.
