The Area archeologica del Monte San Martino, one of the ancient sites, is also located in the vicinity of Tenno. Borgo di Canale and Castel d'Arco are among the castles in the surrounding area. A structure named Riva del Garda is one of the fortifications there.

Exploring the area around Lago di Tenno

The Giro del lago circular route around Lago di Tenno crosses a 120-meter-long suspension bridge over the Rio Secco. For a longer hike, the moderately difficult trail on Sentiero 401 from Tenno to Rifugio San Pietro is available; the entire route takes approximately two and a half hours.

Lago di Tenno can be reached by car or bus. There are paid parking spaces near the lake. Free parking is available in Ville del Monte; from there, the lake can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The bus ride is free with the Garda Guest Card. The Lago di Tenno area is home to numerous animal species, including rare amphibian species.

In the vicinity of Tenno, Cima Valdes, Cima Sclapa and Dosso di Seaoi are among the summits. In the wider regional surroundings of Tenno lies Regina Mundi, which is one of the viewpoints.
