Manerba del Garda opens up a place where archaeological traces, medieval remains and a waterscape come together. The Museo Civico Archeologico della Valtenesi displays archaeological and landscape evidence from the Rocca, Sasso and Pieve di Santa Maria. The remains of a medieval castle are located on the Rocca di Manerba del Garda. Rocca, Sasso and Pieve di Santa Maria thus meet the medieval remains of the castle on the Rocca di Manerba del Garda.
Churches, frescoes and long timelines
The Church of San Giorgio is a Romanesque building. It was built between the 11th and 14th centuries. There are two departure points on the water: Navigazione Laghi boats depart from Porto di Dusano. From the Porto Torchio landing stage, water taxis depart for San Biagio Island every 15 to 30 minutes. Porto di Dusano and Porto Torchio represent different boat connections.
