Today, the villa houses the Trevignano municipal library and serves as a venue for exhibitions in the field of figurative art.

The parish church of Trevignano also offers concrete points of interest for culture-minded visitors. It was rebuilt between 1762 and 1769 based on a design by the Venetian architect Giorgio Massari. Its façade bears a fresco of Saints Teonisto, Tabra and Tabrata, while the ceiling is adorned with a large anonymous fresco of the Assumption of Mary.

Roman Traces and Rural Religious Sites

South of Trevignano, the Chiesetta di San Sisto stands just a few steps from the ancient Via Postumia in an appealing rural setting. Traces of a Roman-era necropolis were found at the site. The Oratorio di S. Sisto also preserves a painting of the Last Supper attributed to Carlo Linzi.

The Oratorio di Sant’Elena dell’aceto is located along the Feltrina road. It is the only surviving building of a hospice for soldiers and travelers. In the hamlet of Madonnette, old routes and historic field layouts point to Roman centuriation.

Trevignano’s traditions are particularly evident at the Palio del Batar Panoce, a historic sporting event held every year in Trevignano since 1991. At each Sunday event of the Palio, before the competition, all the teams parade across Trevignano’s square in historical costumes. In doing so, they pay tribute to former practices, tools, customs and traditions.

At the Palio delle Borgate, six teams compete against one another; each team represents a specific district of Trevignano. The patron saint’s festival of San Sisto includes traditional Trippa alla parmigiana, singing and wine.
